Project Description: MSC has enjoyed several projects at Mission San Diego de Alcala. In 2010 we executed the repair and restoration of the wood rafter tails on the Sanctuary. The design team developed a multi option approach that addressed the different levels of repairs needed for each wood member. The expertise of MSC with the use of epoxy materials and restoration carpentry provided a seamless repair. We constructed a sample board so the many visitors to the Mission can see just how the work was done.
In 2014 MSC completed the seismic retrofit and renovation of the Education Building. This project was truly a collaboration between Mission Board, Design Team and the Contractor. A shining example of the success of partnering that creates a fantastic project.
